02.14.26 Intro to Modular Synthesis workshop at EVA. We’ll learn basic modular synthesis on a Behringer modular synth. We’ll compare and contrast the patching of pedal chains with the capabilities of the modular synth. We’ll talk about intro Calculus (no prior experience needed) to explore the way the electronics come together to make music. We’ll also have fun and experiment! This class is for a total beginner in electronic music and it will be geared toward sonic explorers. We won’t explore drum machines in this course but everyone from beat makers to noise artists to metalheads to new music composers should enjoy it.
